Overview:
Design a brand identity and packaging system for Salsa Del Infierno with three distinct flavors—Tequila and Lime (Mild), Tomatillo and Cilantro (Medium), and Fire Roasted Habanero and Tomato (Very Hot). Salsa del Infierno is a fictional salsa company based in Ventura, California.
Roughs
Design decisions were guided by the brand’s emphasis on bold flavor, chunky textures, and high-quality California-grown ingredients paired with authentic Mexican spices.

Final Design:
After receiving the most positive feedback on the sun logo draft, I refined the sketch further. Inspired by Aztec motifs, I combined the sun with a pepper in its mouth—bringing cultural heritage and the salsa product together in one cohesive symbol.
