Overview:

Design a magazine with a topic of your choosing.

I chose to create a zine centered on acts of kindness, inviting readers to embrace kindness in their own lives, discover inspiring examples within their communities, and enjoy uplifting stories and visuals designed to encourage.

Roughs:

Design choices emphasized vibrant color, Corporate Memphis-inspired elements, and geometric shapes. The vision was to create a zine that feels light-hearted, playful, and visually engaging for younger audiences.

Final Design:

The final design features multiple graphic spreads, two original interviews, and a nonprofit spotlight—all unified by a lighthearted theme of simple shapes and vibrant colors. To strengthen its identity as a hypothetical seasonal zine, I developed distinct branded assets including floral motifs, star elements, playful 'webcore' accents, and character illustrations that reflect and resonate with diverse audiences.
